Walter

We swore no more pets. About 12 years ago, my daughter acquired Walter as a kitten to go with the 4 dogs and 2 other cats. Walter did not adjust, so we reluctantly agreed to take him. His name was Dr. Love because his face looked like Gene Simmons from Kiss. Sweet little kitty turned out to have a mean streak and could go postal at the drop of a hat. Remembering the line from The Big Lebowski, when John Goodman pulls a gun in a bowling alley because a bowler slipped over the line. As Goodmans character, Walter Supchak, was sitting in Dudes car he queries Jeff Bridges (The Dude) "Am I wrong Dude, Huh? Am I wrong?" To which the Dude replies "You are not wrong Walter, you are just an asshole." Which is where the cat got his new name, he was Just an asshole. He passed away last spring from renal failure.
